Applying for Academic Accommodations (K-12)

Elementary, Middle, and High School students will likely require testing through the school as well as an outside evaluation to qualify for an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) or 504 plan to obtain services through the public school system. These services include but are not limited to speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychological services, as well as individual reading, writing, and math instructions.

Individuals diagnosed with a learning disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and/or a psychological condition should qualify for accommodations under IDEA law.
